The Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce on Monday issued a letter of support for the Go Forward Sales Tax initiative.
On May 9, voters will decide the fate of extending the five-eights cent sales tax which was first adopted in 2016 for another seven years. That tax is due to expire next year and if voters approve, would end on Sept. 30, 2031.
Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show, Chamber Director Jennifer Kline read the letter.
