Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley
Chad Kelley has won reelection to an eighth term as Jefferson County Coroner, defeating Jamal Gordon 3,865 to 3,658 in a closely contested race.
Kelley spoke with Deltaplex News on Tuesday night to share his thoughts on securing another term in office.
In recent weeks, several of Kelley’s deputy coroners became active on social media and in the community in an effort to support his reelection. Kelley credited those deputies for their hard work and dedication.
He also discussed several goals he hopes to accomplish within the coroner’s office over the next four years.
