With more than 17 years of experience in higher education, Calhoun has worked at Southeast Arkansas College and currently serves with the Arkansas Division of Higher Education. She said those experiences have given her valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities students face as they prepare for life after graduation.

“My commitment is to ensure every decision benefits our students and prepares them for their future—whether that path leads to higher education, military service, or employment,” Calhoun said.

Calhoun said she looks forward to continuing to serve the district and asked for the community’s support as Election Day approaches.

“I am committed to representing Zone 2 on the Pine Bluff School District Board of Directors and working together to ensure a bright future for all our students,” she said.
