The burn ban in Jefferson County has been lifted, effective immediately.
County Judge Gerald Robinson issued the order Friday, ending restrictions that had been in place due to dry conditions.
Residents may now resume outdoor burning; however, county officials are encouraging the public to continue exercising caution when burning brush, leaves, or other debris.
Jefferson County joins several other Arkansas counties that have recently lifted burn bans following recent rainfall and improving conditions.
Lincoln County has also listed its burn ban, according to County Judge Buddy Lynn Earnest.
