A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly threatened to kill several people Saturday.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Algia Pugh, 53, with terroristic threatening and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said Pugh was arrested after police were sent to a reported armed disturbance at 311 W. 24th Ave.

The alleged victim told police they had been involved in a verbal altercation with Pugh who produced a weapon and threatened to kill everybody on the porch.

Pugh then left the scene and the victim said she called 911. The victim also told police where Pugh could be located and he was arrested without incident. He was not arrested because he was reportedly intoxicated and while police were filling out the arrest paperwork, Pugh allegedly admitted the incident,

Spradlin said Pugh has a prior felony conviction and he was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims. Pugh was told to come back to court Oct. 15.
