Members of the Blue Knights Arkansas IV Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club will be conducting the First Annual Terry W. Wingard Memorial Ride on Saturday, Sept. 27. Beginning with registration at 9 a.m.
Dustin Summers, a member of the Blue Knights explained the ride.
According to a press release, Wingard was a dedicated public servant who worked for the Pine Bluff Police Department and later with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department where he was a Lieutenant in the Criminal Investigation Division. He was also a member of the Blue Knights.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Terry W. Wingard Shield Foundation, created by Terry’s family to provide mental health resources and support for first responders and their families.
Registration fees will be $25 for riders and $15 for passengers. Jeeps will be welcomed.
