Arkansas State Police Patrols Lead to Dozens of Arrests in Pine Bluff

The Pine Bluff Police Department says extra patrols provided by the Arkansas State Police (ASP) last month made a noticeable impact on city streets.

According to officials, ASP Troop E conducted special enforcement efforts in Pine Bluff on August 14 and 15, 2025, resulting in a total of 57 arrests. The arrests included charges for speeding, driving while intoxicated, safety belt violations, hazardous driving, and criminal offenses.

Alongside the arrests, troopers also issued 115 citations for other violations and handed out 49 warnings for traffic-related issues.

“We want to thank the Arkansas State Police for providing extra patrols on our streets,” Pine Bluff police said in a statement. “The enforcement activity helps make our city safer for everyone.”

The report also shows that troopers assisted motorists, investigated accidents, and took proactive measures to ensure roadway safety during their time in Pine Bluff.
