A one-vehicle accident on I-530 Saturday morning resulted in the death of one man and injuries to a second.
A Hamburg woman died in separate accident in rural Ashley Count Friday morning.
According to a preliminary report, David Pickney, 57, of Little Rock was southbound at the 12-mile marker when the 2019 Kia he was driving in the number one lane ran off the roadway to the west and hit a tree.
A passenger in his car, Harry Phang, 41, was taken to a Little Rock hospital where he was pronounced dead and Pickney was injured and also taken to a Little Rock hospital.
That accident was reported at 8:30 a.m. near Hensley in Saline County.
A day earlier, Madison Childress, 28, of Hamburg was killed in rural Ashley County when the 2004 Chevrolet she was driving north on Hancock Road ran off the roadway, struck a tree and then went airborne and came to rest on its side.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
That accident was reported at 12:55 a.m.
