A Little Rock woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident Thursday.
According to a preliminary report, Antoinette Jones, 42, was southbound on Barbe Street in a 2016 Toyota when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck a tree. She and a passenger were taken to a Little Rock hospital where she was pronounced dead. The passenger received what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
The accident was reported at 3:14 p.m. and the death was the 95th so far this year on the state’s highways.
