A Little Rock woman was killed Wednesday when she was hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross interstate 30.

According to a preliminary report, Alyisia Osburn, 36, entered the Number One lane at the 131 mile marker and the driver of a 2018 Lexus that was in that lane tried to swerve to avoid hitting her but she struck the front passenger side of the vehicle.

Osburn was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident was reported at 6:29 p.m. and the death was the 561st so far this year on the state’s highways.
