A Lincoln County woman died Tuesday night after her vehicle hit a tree in Cleveland County.
Kimberly Fay Lutrell, 54, of Glendale, was traveling west on Arkansas 54 in Cleveland County when the Toyota Corolla she was driving left the roadway and traveled 297 feet before striking a tree head on, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report.
Lutrell died at the scene of the accident.
The accident occurred at 8:50 p.m. on October 15. The weather was rainy and the roadway was wet at the time of the accident.
At least 387 people have died as a result of accidents on Arkansas roads this year, according to preliminary figures.
