Inflation is having a major impact on plans for the new Watson Chapel High School, according to a member of the school’s board of directors.

Appearing on the Oldie 1013 morning show Tuesday, Alan Frazier, who was formerly president of the board talked about the effect inflation is having.

Frazier was then asked if there are remedies to the problem.

Morning show host Greg Horne then asked Frazier how can you follow through on what voters were promised considering that projected costs are 20 to 30 percent more.

A new national law that went into effect Jan. 1 requiring safe rooms also as to be added, Frazier said.
