Officials say that Listeria Monocytogenes were identified at the manufacturing facility during an FDA inspection. It was not found in the finished product.
According to the FDA, Pita Pal Foods, LP has issued a voluntary recall of certain Hummus brands produced between May 30, 2019 and June 25, 2019. The products have been distributed nationwide and to the United Arab Emirates. No illnesses have been reported at this time, but the company is issuing the recall out of an abundance of caution.
