The Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotions Commission (A&P)
Recently announced that it will be distributing $1.5 million to events and activities this year.
Executive Director Sherie Storie was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and was asked by host Greg Horne if one of the purposes of the commission is to help bring people to Pine Bluff.
A majority of that funding will go to the Pine Bluff Convention Center, something Horne told Storie he understood she was not a big fan of.
Storie talked about the hotel that is planned adjacent to the convention center and said while she did not know when it was going to happen, believed it would happen. Horne then asked if she thought the hotel would help to attract more people and events to the convention center
