Entergy Arkansas has announced that customers in the state will notice a $10 decrease in their bills next month. The decrease is due to their low cost power generation portfolio and reduced gas prices over the last year. The average customer using 1,000 kilowatt hours per month will see the decrease. Both industrial and residential customers will see the decrease ranging from 1.6 to 17.7%.
“The total decrease customers see on their bills will vary based on their usage but comes at a time when customers need relief”, the company said. They added the decrease will continue through the summer months.
