A North Little Rock man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 67/167 in Pulaski County Wednesday.

According to a preliminary report, Thomas Nuaman, 74, was southbound at the three-mile marker in the number three land when the 2010 Toyota Highlander he was driving began to drift to the east shoulder of the highway where a 2012 Peterbilt was parked. The Toyota continued to travel on the east shoulder until the front bumper hit the rear bumper of the tractor-trailer.

Nuaman was taken to a Little Rock hospital where he was pronounced dead,

The accident was reported at 10:48 p.m. and the death was the 530th so far this year on the state’s highways.
