Jefferson County Judge Gerald Robinson whose wife, former city council member Joni Alexander Robinson, finished 3rd in the primary for Pine Bluff Mayor on March 5th, contacted Greg Horne this morning during an interview he and Will Jenkins were having live on air with Mayor Shirley Washington.
Washington and State Representative Vivian Flowers are the 2 candidates to make the runoff that is on April 2nd. Deltaplex Radio had Flowers in for an extended interview Thursday and Washington the same on Friday.
Robinson told Horne “I say stick with the Mayor, we know who she is. Flowers has already started out deceptive. My philosophy is if you don’t start right it won’t end right”.
Mayor Washington heard the County Judges endorsement for the first time live on air and immediately had this reaction
