The Business Expo which had been scheduled for Thursday at the Pine Bluff Convention Center has been postponed, according to Jennifer Klein, who works for the Chamber of Commerce.

Appearing on the Oldies 101.3 morning show Monday, Klein explained why.

In 2020, the Chamber canceled the Expo, which had been scheduled in May, because of the COVID pandemic. It was rescheduled for May of this year but was pushed back to August.

Klein said Chamber officials have been talking about rescheduling the event for later this year but the annual Farmer’s Appreciation Fish Fry is two months away. Last year that was handled as a drive-thru event and Klein said it could be done the same way again if necessary, but the Business Expo could not be.
