United States Senator John Boozman told Greg Horne on Oldies 101.3 Wednesday said he was in Washington taking care of a number of things, including work on the President’s Infrastructure plan, but tries to get back to Arkansas as often as possible.

He also talked about the travel that is involved in being a member of Congress.

Boozman was asked by Deltaplex News about a recent action by the Federal Office of Management and Budget that reversed plans to increase the size of Metropolitan Statistical Areas from 50,000 to 100,000, which would have had a major impact on Pine Bluff and Jefferson County.

The National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) which is located in Jefferson County recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and Boozman talked about that agency and its importance.
