A person working at Arkansas Children’s Hospital has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to an email the hospital sent to staff members.

The email says the hospital learned Wednesday that the worker had been exposed to the virus. The person was tested in coordination with the Arkansas Department of Health and the results were presumptive positive, according to the email. When a person tests positive, results are sent to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for confirmation.

The email says the hospital is working to identity all staff members and patients who came into contact with the person who tested positive.

It’s at least the second case of the virus, officially known as COVID-19, in Arkansas. The state’s first presumptive case of the virus was reported Wednesday morning. A patient at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff tested positive.
