Arkansas Attorney General looks to stop student loan forgiveness

Attorney General Tim Griffin says he will sue the Biden Administration to stop student loan forgiveness in the state. President Biden is scheduled to provide $5.8 billion in debt relief to 77,000 borrowers who have entered public service. Griffin said Arkansas “was part of the original coalition that sued over it’s first unlawful debt cancellation plan”.  Attorneys general of Missouri and Kansas are also planning to sue to stop the plan.
