A$100,000 bond was set Friday for a man who fled from police at high speed Friday before hitting a parked vehicle that then hit a garage.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Deandre Brothers with felony fleeing and first-degree criminal mischief.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jeremy Crosby, Depputy Prosecutor Joe West said in the early evening Wednesday, Crosby was on duty and was traveling west on Harding Avenue approaching State Street when he saw a vehicle come up behind his vehicle using the turning lane as a travel lane. Crosby reported that he waved the driver of the vehicle to go around him then followed the vehicle.

Crosby reported the driver of the vehicle sped up to between 75 and 80 miles per hour before losing control when the vehicle hit a patch of water on the road.

Brothers was told to come back to court March 1.
