Arkansas State Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on Sunday night in Gould. The shooting happened just before 8:30 last night near the intersection of McKinley and Arkansas streets.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s office dispatch received the first calls of gunfire where several people had gathered in the street. When officers arrived, they found 20 year old Roberto Gonzales suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lincoln County Coroner. Gonzalez’s body will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the official cause of death.
