Her bond was set at $100,000.

Ayers, whose name has also been spelled Ayres is charged as a co-defendant in the death of two-month-old infant Sebastian Ayres on Jan. 3, 2025.

A second suspect in the death has not been arrested as of Monday.

According to an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Keith Banks, EMT personnel transported the infant to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

An autopsy by the State Medical Examiner’s Office indicated the infant sustained a craniocerebral trauma including a skull fracture and subdural hemorrhage as well as hemorrhaging in the posterior neck soft tissue and cervical spine column. The medical examiner also said the injuries were not consistent with self-inflicted trauma and were most consistent with a inflicted traumatic injury.
