A $100,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man, currently on parole, who allegedly threatened to kill his son.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Steven Ludlam, 42, with terroristic threatening.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Ryan Edwards, Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said on Thursday, police were sent to an address in Pine Bluff in response to a reported domestic disturbance involving a juvenile.

Ludlam was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court June 3.

In addition to the current allegation, the Department of Corrections is alleging he violated conditions of his parole, and he will be held without bond pending a hearing on that allegation.
