The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash as a homicide following an incident earlier this year in Pine Bluff.
According to the Pine Bluff Police Department, officers responded around 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2026, to the intersection of 21st Avenue and Olive Street after receiving a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found 68-year-old Oscar Moore unresponsive in the roadway on Olive Street. Authorities said Moore had been struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Jefferson County deputy coroner.
Investigators said the driver involved in the collision left the scene. The case is now being investigated as a homicide.
