A $5,000 bond was set Monday for a White Hall man on drug related charges.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Brandon Hutchinson, 44, with possession of a controlled substance.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jarrell Johnson said on Friday morning about 9:1 a.m., police vice and narcotics officers and Tri-County Drug Task Force Agents served a search warrant on a house on West 14th Avenue as a result of an on-going investigation into drug activity by Brandon Hutchinson.
In addition to the current allegation, Hutchinson has been charged with possession of a controlled substance stemming from an arrest in 2025 with a $2,500 bond set in that case.
Hutchinson was told to come back to court May 29.
