Pine Bluff Police Seek Woman Accused of Aiding Homicide Suspect

The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman accused of assisting a capital murder suspect during an active investigation.

Authorities are searching for Omarria Woodus, 19, of Pine Bluff, who is wanted on charges of hindering apprehension and obstructing governmental operations.

According to police, Woodus allegedly allowed capital murder suspect Akyell Malik Madison to hide inside her residence and provided false information to officers by stating no one was inside the home prior to his capture.

Investigators also reported that a firearm was located inside the residence, which Woodus claimed ownership of. Police said she should be considered potentially armed.

Woodus is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 95 pounds, with brown eyes.

Authorities said she may be driving a gray 2025 Honda Civic with Arkansas license plate BCC 73T. Her last known location was reported near the 3000 block of Almetta Drive in Pine Bluff.
