A $100,000 cash only bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man currently on probation who fled from law enforcement officers at high-speed Monday before hitting another vehicle.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Deandre Brothers, 29, with felony fleeing, first-degree battery, second-degree battery, six counts of aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident involving injuries.
Deputy Prosecutor Maxie Kizer said on Monday, sheriff’s deputies received information that Brothers was wanted on felony charges and attempted to pull the car he was driving over.
Kizer said prosecutors will file a petition to revoke Brothers’ probation which is also on a charge of felony fleeing.
Brothers was told to come back to court May 8.
