Pine Bluff Man Held on Methamphetamine Charge After Police Investigation

A $25,000 bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man on a drug related charge.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Deonte Glover, 36, with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine.

According to a probable cause affidavit, at 7:06 a.m. Sunday, a White Hall Police Officer was sent to the Big Red Travel Plaza at 8110 Sheridan Road in response to a report that an individual was sitting in a dark colored vehicle that had been in the parking lot for several hours.

Glover was told to come back to court April 29.
