The third anniversary of the Learns Act, the governor’s initiative to improve education in the state is here and on Tuesday, Dr. Keith McGee, the Superintendent of the Watson Chapel School District was asked how he thought it had affected education in Arkansas, in the Watson Chapel School District, and overall.
McGee, who was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show, went on to say this.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said he understood the emphasis on reading and thought that while holding kids back puts a lot of pressure on the kids, their parents, the teachers and administrators, it is a good idea.
