Three Deltaplex-area counties have issued burn bans due to extreme fire danger.
Bradley, Cleveland and Lincoln counties are all under burn bans until further notice.
Over the weekend, area fire departments urged residents on social media to refrain from outdoor burning because of dry and windy conditions. Firefighters responded to numerous blazes across the Deltaplex as a result of the heightened fire risk.
Other counties in the region are considering implementing burn bans as well. This story will be updated if additional bans are announced.
