A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff woman on drug related charges.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Tiffani Reynolds, 55, with possession of a controlled substance.
Reading from an affidavit from Trooper Sanders of the Arkansas State Police, Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said Sanders was patrolling US.65 and Bryant Street when he saw a Maroon Ford Edge and a computer check showed the vehicle had no insurance and the registered owner’s driver’s license was suspended.
Hunter said Reynolds, who was the driver of the vehicle, admitted putting marijuana in the passenger’s purse. The trooper checked Reynolds’ purse and found several plastic bags containing a white powder that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Reynolds was told to come back to court April 14.
