At its meeting on Monday, the Pine Bluff School District Board of Directors voted to extend the contract of Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Barbaree.
She talked about that extension on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Morning Show host Greg Horne noted that with the extension, Barbaree will be here for the opening of the new high school and asked her to update the progress on the construction.
Horne then asked her if she was not expecting any issues that would prevent the district from starting the upcoming school year in the new building.
“So you’re not nervous at all,” Horne said.
