A $10,000 bond was set Monday for a Jefferson County man accused of hitting his mother during an altercation Friday.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Jonathan Taylor, 32, with second-degree battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Sheriff’s Lt. Clayton Cantrell, a deputy prosecutor said at 4:15 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance.
Taylor was ordered to have no contact with his mother until the case is settled.
