Officials reported there were no immediate signs of foul play. A preliminary assessment indicates the death may be related to a medical condition. However, the exact cause and manner of death will be determined by the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory following an autopsy and full investigation.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has notified Jenkins’ next of kin. Authorities said that out of respect for the family, no additional personal information will be released at this time.

The incident remains under active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
