A $5,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff man previously convicted of misdemeanor domestic battery after he was arrested for a similar allegation Tuesday.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Shen Lee, 48, with second offense third-degree domestic battery, a felony.
Reading from an affidavit from Detective Tiffany Wood, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Tuesday at 2 p.m., police were sent to a reported domestic disturbance.
Lee was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court March 27.
