The Drew County Road Department is accepting bids for upcoming road work and materials for 2026, according to notices released this week.
One project includes paving Harris Road off Highway 13 to the lake entrance, a distance of approximately one mile.
In addition to the paving project, the Drew County Road Department is also accepting bids on asphalt for the year 2026. The bid request includes multiple asphalt types and specifications, including:

9.5 mm surface (3/8”)

12.5 mm surface (1/2”)

25.0 mm binder (1”)

37.5 mm base (1 1/2”)
The asphalt bid request includes pricing for material delivered and placed, including tack coat, as well as pricing FOB to the Monticello plant site.
Bids may be submitted by email to [email protected], or by mail or hand delivery to the Drew County Judge’s Office, located at 210 South Main Street, Monticello, AR 71655.
