A $2,500 bond was set Wednesday for a White Hall woman accused of trying to cash a fraudulent check.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Amie Worlds, 20, with forgery and theft of property.
Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said Worlds was arrested Tuesday when a cashier questioned a check Wells was attempting to cash.
Worlds was interviewed and reportedly said she was told she could write a check for any amount and said she showed the check to the victim after she wrote it.
Worlds was told to come back to court March 20.
