The first winter storm of 2026 hit the Deltaplex area Friday night, leaving roads, yards, and homes covered in snow and ice as residents woke up Saturday morning.
Redfield Police Chief Steve McFatridge spoke with Deltaplex News on Saturday morning to share how conditions are looking in his jurisdiction.
McFatridge added that his department is allowing citizens to use ATVs and side-by-sides on the roads, as long as they are reasonable and responsible with their driving.
He concluded the interview by urging citizens to keep an eye on the elderly and on animals.
