A $15,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff man currently on parole, who was arrested Saturday after allegedly taking laundry detergent from a Dollar General, then fleeing.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Keanrey set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Leroy Tyler, 55, with theft of property and fleeing.
During the court hearing, a deputy prosecutor said at 3:33 p.m., police were sent to the Dollar General at 713 N. University in response to a reported theft.
Tyler has previous convictions for aggravated robbery, theft of property and fleeing.
He was told to come back to court March 6.
