A $10,000 cash only bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man previously convicted of misdemeanor domestic battery who was arrested after allegedly hitting his son.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Richard Baker, 47, with second offense third-degree domestic battery, a felony.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said at 10:57 p.m. Thursday, police were sent to a residence on West 27th Avenue in response to a reported domestic disturbance.
Baker, who is currently on probation, was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court March 4.
