A $2,500 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of breaking a man’s glasses and cell phone and injuring the man during an altercation.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Briana Harris, 23, with aggravated assault on a family or household member, first-degree criminal mischief and third-degree domestic battery.

In the early morning hours Wednesday, sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance.

When Harris was questioned, she allegedly admitted breaking the man’s glasses and phone, and fighting with him.

Harris was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Feb. 23.
