Investigators report that the victim told officers he had driven to Pine Bluff from Lonoke to sell a subwoofer to an individual he had contacted through Facebook. When the victim arrived at the agreed-upon meeting location, a black Mercury Grand Marquis reportedly pulled in front of his vehicle, blocking him in.

The victim stated that two black males exited the Mercury and approached his vehicle, asking if they could test the sound system before purchasing it. Moments later, one of the suspects allegedly produced a long gun, pointed it at the victim, and told him the speakers belonged to them.

The suspects then fled the scene with the speakers. No injuries were reported.
