Pine Bluff police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night that left two people injured inside a home on Barrow Drive.
Officers were called to the residence around 9:32 p.m. and found a man and woman lying on the living room floor, according to the Pine Bluff Police Department. The woman had been shot in the foot, and the man was struck in the upper left leg. Both were taken for medical treatment. Their conditions were not released.
Two small children were inside the home at the time but were not injured.
A woman at the scene told officers the group was preparing to leave the house when they opened the door and encountered an unknown masked man. She said the man began firing into the home before running away in an unknown direction.
Police have not identified a suspect.
