A $25,000 cash only bond was set Monday for a Pine Bluff man accused of possessing nearly two ounces of suspected marijuana and a loaded AR-style pistol.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Hasahne Summerville 19, with felony possession of a Schedule 6 Controlled Substance with purpose to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms and possession of a controlled substance.

Reading from an affidavit from White Hall Police Investigator Chales Treadway, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said on Sunday, White Hall Police stopped a vehicle driven by Summerville because a check of the license plate showed the vehicle had no insurance.

Summerville was ordered to come back to court Jan. 16.
