UPDATE: Suspect Taken into Custody for Nov. 27 Shooting

UPDATE: 40-year-old Mark Davis has been taken into custody by the Pine Bluff Police Department.

Police are investigating two shootings — one of them injuring a man — that occurred Thursday evening in Pine Bluff.

The first incident happened around 6:50 p.m. on West 32nd Avenue, where a woman told officers someone fired shots at her home while her children were inside. No one was hurt, and detectives are working to identify a suspect.

A second shooting was reported at about 10:05 p.m. on West 28th Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man inside a home bleeding from a gunshot wound to his left shoulder. An officer provided aid by applying pressure to the wound until medical personnel arrived.

Police are searching for Mark Davis, 40, in connection with the second shooting. He is wanted on charges of terroristic act and first-degree battery.

Davis is described as a Black male, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 165 pounds. Police said he may be driving a black 2018 GMC Sierra with Arkansas license plate 1DIOP.
