Pine Bluff Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with a Tuesday night shooting that left another man injured.
Kortezz Strickland, 21, has been charged with first-degree battery and committing a terroristic act following the incident.
Officers were dispatched to South Fir Street at approximately 9:51 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, where they found a male victim bleeding from his right bicep. Police said the victim approached officers with his hands up and reported that he had been shot by a man armed with a rifle after a brief confrontation outside his girlfriend’s home.
During the investigation, officers located Strickland at a fast food restaurant on North Blake Street. He was found inside the restroom and taken into custody without incident.
The victim’s condition has not been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
