The White Hall School Board met for their regular monthly meeting Wednesday and as they do each month, began the meeting with a series of recognitions.
District Superintendent Gary Williams said Thursday that the recognitions serve as a reminder of why members of the board and the administration are there, to focus on the kids and the staff.
Williams was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Morning Show host Greg Horne asked Williams if having the new fine arts facility hass brought more kids to arts and music programs because the facility is so nice.
Horne said there is so much attention paid to sports but kids, particularly in high school need to find their niche and doing that in that big new facility is awesome.
