Four Jail Inmates Held Without Bond After Stabbing in Pine Bluff Detention Center

Four detainees at the adult detention center accused of being involved in a fight Saturday that resulted in the death of two men will be held without bond after a court hearing Monday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ruled prosecutors have probable cause to charge Darnell Ford, 24, Terencio Wyrick, 25, Kamaren Wainwright, 24, and Kendrick Love, 21, with two counts of capital murder and one count of use of a weapon by an incarcerated person.

They are accused of causing the deaths of Darrion Williams, 24, and Jonathan Danard Harris, 22, who were beaten and stabbed during an altercation and fight in A-Pod at the jail Saturday about 2:47 p.m.

Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed explained the circumstances that led to the allegations.

The next court appearance for the four will be Dec. 19.
